Current Sense Application: Data Center Management

Current Sense is an electromagnetic component which deliver a precise, real-time representation of the input and output currents. The measuring signals are then used (e.g., in frequency converters) for precisely controlling the power semiconductors and for monitoring performance and functionality.

Our Current Sense can be installed on power distribution lines for load management. The output of the Current Sense is connected with the computer to monitor the power consumption. If an overload is detected, the controlled line will be disconnected in time to ensure the safety of electrical equipment. This device also enables load distribution and remote control, remote measurement and inspection of the power grid. Current Sense can be integrated with backup power systems (such as inverters and UPS systems) to protect the battery during the charging phase and improve performance and reduce power consumption of data centers.
